Kickstarter king - Coolest Cooler
Two years ago - Pebble set the record for most money raised on kickstarter
But now a new king is crowned. Coolest Cooler.
the project has managed to lure in nearly 50,000 backers and collect a little over $10,424,610 so far, shattering Pebble's previous milestone of $10,266,845.
The cooler is actually pretty cool - it offers a lot including
18v rechargeable blender
removable waterproof bluetooth speaker (looks to be jambox)
A usb charger
LED lights inside the cooler
Gear tie down straps
Cooler divider that doubles as a cutting board
Nice big tires
Storage for plates and silverware
and a bottle opener
This is a pretty cool cooler (haha I know so puny) but in all seriousness I will be interested to see how successful it will be when they start selling publicly after the kick starter.

Instagram - Hyperlapse
So a new crazy in video seems to be slo-mo and hyper lapse (super fast) video clips.
So Instagram decided to capitalize on that by programming their own app - “hyperlapse”
What's interesting is that it uses cropping and your devices gyroscope to do on-the-fly editing to make your hyperlapses super smooth.
It will crop your video, or change the frame rate - whatever it takes to make the video smooth and nice.
Interestingly Microsoft demoed something similar for youtubers to make hyperlapse out of recorded video. But Instagram beat them to the punch and put it in a convenient iphone app to allow easy uploads to instagram.

Amazon buys Twitch?
So late last week and early this week, there was rumors that Google would buy Twitch and make their streaming empire even bigger. But it has not been confirmed that Amazon would actually be buying twitch for an astounding $970 million in cash. The deal is almost finalized after it goes through the legal merger and government approval.
The CEOs of both companies have come out and talked about how happy they are about this merger. Twitch has a new backer so they can do even more. And amazon now has a way to do streaming
As long as amazon doesn't mess with the current Twitch setup, they should be golden. Because you really don't want to tick off millions of gamers - it doesn't end well.
So yeah - it will be exciting to see what Twitch can do with its new Amazon money.
You can follow me on Twitch at Twitch.tv/ccsrazr for some gaming fun.
